How to merge PDFs on a Mac
Macs can combine PDFs with the built-in Preview app. If you also want to mix in photos, reorder across many files, sign or compress, pdfSofo does it in your browser, and your files stay on your Mac either way.
Merge PDFs nowOption 1: Preview (built in)
- Open the first PDF in Preview and show thumbnails (View, then Thumbnails).
- Drag the other PDFs into the thumbnail sidebar where you want them.
- Choose File, then Export as PDF to save a new combined file.
Option 2: pdfSofo (more control)
- Open pdfsofo.com and drag your PDFs and photos onto the page.
- Drag whole files or single pages into order; see the final PDF live on the right.
- Download, choosing the file size, or Share to AirDrop, Mail or Messages.
